Thèreval is a French commune with a population of 1,800 (as at 1st January 2017) in the department of Manche in the region of Normandy . It belongs to the arrondissement of Saint-Lô and the canton of Saint-Lô-1 .

It was created as Commune nouvelle with effect from January 1, 2016 through the amalgamation of the previous municipalities of Hébécrevon and La Chapelle-en-Juger , which have the status of Commune déléguée in the new municipality . The administrative headquarters are in Hébécrevon.
