Salmānu-ašarēd II.
Salmānu-ašarēd II. (Also Shalmaneser II. , Šulmānu-ašarēd II. ) Was king of the Assyrian Empire and ruled around 1031-1020 BC. Chr.
He was the successor to King Aššur-nâṣir-apli I , the founder of the 7th dynasty of Assyria. Little is known about Salmānu-ašarēd because of the lack of sources for the "Dark Ages" of Assyria. He was succeeded by Assur-nirari IV.
