The Salmopol was a ski jumping facility in Szczyrk , Poland , which was demolished in 2000. The complex was located in the Salmopol district on the Przełęcz Salmopolska mountain pass . The normal hill was also called Zdzisław-Hryniewiecki-Schanze .

history

The ski jump was built in 1980 and put into operation in 1984. The K-85 ski jump, which was named after Zdzisław Hryniewiecki , was made of wood and mounted on concrete supports.

The facility has twice hosted the European Cup and the Polish Championships . In addition, competitions of the B-World Cup of Nordic Combined were held in March 1991 and February 1992 , in which the winners were František Máka and Stanisław Ustupski .

On May 31st, 2000 the ski jumping facility was burned and destroyed.
