Salvatore Andrea Molina (born January 1, 1992 in Garbagnate Milanese ) is an Italian football player .

Career

Molina began his career in 2001 in the Atalanta Bergamos youth department , which is known in Italy as a talent factory . He went through this until 2011, after which he was transferred to the professional area. In order to promote his development, however, he was immediately loaned to the US Foggia in the Lega Pro Prima Divisione . In the 2011/12 season Molina completed 20 games for Foggia, in which he scored a goal. In the following season it was decided to go on loan, this time with the SS Barletta Calcio . For this, Molina ran in 29 league games in the 2012/13 season and scored two goals. After his good performance for Barletta, Molina was awarded a Serie B to FC Modena to take the next step in her career. In the 2013/14 season he was on the field in 36 games and scored four goals. With Modena he was defeated at the end of the season in the promotion play-offs of AC Cesena , the eventual winner of the play-offs. For the season 2014/15 returned Molina back to Bergamo. He made his Serie A debut on September 21, 2014 in the 1-0 defeat by Fiorentina on matchday three.

Molina made his debut for Italy's U-20 national team on March 25, 2011 in a 1-0 loss to Switzerland . He played three more games for the U-20s until 2012. For the U-21 team , he made his debut on September 5, 2013 in the 3-1 loss to Belgium . With the Azzurrini he qualified for the 2015 European Championship in October 2014 .
