The Sam's Town 300 is a car race in the NASCAR Nationwide Series , which annually at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway in Las Vegas , Nevada is discharged. It took place for the first time in 1997.

In 2007, Kyle Busch crossed the finish line backwards in second place after he hit the car of Jeff Burton , the winner of the race, and lost control shortly before the finish .
