Samhorodok ( Ukrainian Самгородок ; Russian Самгородок Samgorodok ) is a village in the southwest of the Ukrainian Kiev Oblast with about 1200 inhabitants.
The village was founded in 1602 is located on the banks of Beresnjanka ( Березнянка ), a 44-km long left tributary of Ros and the territorial road T-02-03 .
The village is the center of the district council of the same name in the south of Skwyra Rajon , which also includes the villages of Novyj Schljach ( Новий Шлях ) with 2 inhabitants and Sawran ( Саврань ) with about 10 inhabitants.
Samhorodok is located 14 km southwest of the district center of Skwyra and about 140 km southwest of Kiev .
