Samson Kiprono Barmao

Samson Kiprono Barmao (born April 17, 1982 ) is a Kenyan marathon runner .

Barmao won the 2005 Nairobi Marathon in 2:12:14 hours. The following year he finished 22nd in the Rotterdam Marathon and then stayed under the 2:10 hour mark for the first time in his second place in the Eindhoven Marathon with 2:09:28 hours. In 2007 and 2008 he was seventh in the Paris Marathon . In 2009 he finished third in the Daegu Marathon and fourth in Eindhoven. The following year he finished seventh in Daegu and seventeenth at the Amsterdam Marathon . In 2011 he finished fourth at the Enschede Marathon and won the Cologne Marathon with a new personal best of 2:08:56 hours.
