Samuel Eliot Morison Prize
The Samuel Eliot Morison Prize is a prestigious US award for a lifetime achievement in military history . It has been awarded annually since 1985, with the exception of 1988, by the Society for Military History (SMH). It was named after the military historian and Pulitzer Prize winner Samuel Eliot Morison (1887–1976).
