San Cristóbal (Morillo de Monclús)
The Church of San Cristóbal in Morillo de Monclús , a district of the Spanish municipality of La Fueva in the province of Huesca in the autonomous community of Aragon , was built at the beginning of the 12th century. The parish church in the area of the Castillo de los Mur was classified as a Bien de Interés Cultural ( monument ).
description
The Romanesque church dedicated to St. Christophorus was consecrated in the 17th century. The semicircular apse is covered by a barrel vault. The tower has three floors, it was also used as a defense tower of the castle. In the nave , which has side chapels, remains of wall paintings have been preserved.
