San Nazario is a fraction of the north-east Italian municipality ( comune ) Valbrenta in the province of Vicenza in Veneto .

geography

The place is located about 34 kilometers north-northeast of Vicenza on the Brenta River on the orographic left side of the valley in the Brenta Canal, as the southern continuation of the Valsugana is called.

history

San Nazario was an independent municipality until January 30, 2019 and has since formed the new municipality of Valbrenta with the also dissolved municipalities of Campolongo sul Brenta , Cismon del Grappa and Valstagna .

To the west of the town center, Strada Statale 47 della Valsugana leads from Padua to Trento .
