Sandra Utzinger
Sandra Utzinger (born October 10, 1972 in Bülach ) is a Swiss film and theater actress .
Life
After attending the comart movement theater school in Zurich (1990 to 1993), she studied acting at the University of Music and Theater in Bern (1994 to 1998).
At first she worked primarily in theater productions in Bern and Zurich and gained film experience in smaller film roles. In the TV thriller Steinschlag of the SF DRS she played her first film leading role alongside Matthias Gnädinger and was nominated for the Swiss Film Prize in the category Best Actor in 2006. In 2013, she played in the Swiss Tatort Dirty Thursday at the side of Commissioner Delia Mayer .
Sandra Utzinger has been a member of the core ensemble of kraut_produktion since 2002 and has been in the actor pool of Theater Marie in Aarau since 2013 .
She had engagements at the Theater an der Sihl and in various independent productions in Germany and Switzerland, including at the Schauspielhaus Zurich .
Sandra Utzinger lives in Zurich and Ticino.
