Sandro Viana ( Sandro Ricardo Rodrigues Viana; born March 26, 1977 in Manaus ) is a Brazilian sprinter .

In 2005 he won bronze over 100 m at the Universiade in Izmir . In 2007 he won the South American Athletics Championships in São Paulo over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay . He was also victorious with the Brazilian relay at the Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro . At the World Athletics Championships in Osaka , he was eliminated over 100 m in the preliminary run and over 200 m in the quarter-finals and came in fourth place with the Brazilian relay.

At the Olympic Games 2008 he was eliminated again over 100 m in the preliminary round, reached the quarter-finals over 200 m and won the bronze medal with the relay. In 2009 he failed at the World Championships in Berlin over 200 m in the preliminary run and took seventh place with the relay.

In 2011 he won bronze in the 100 m and gold in the 4 x 100 m relay at the South American Athletics Championships in Buenos Aires . At the World Championships in Daegu he was disqualified over 200 m in the semifinals, and at the Pan-American Games in Guadalajara he was seventh over 200 m and defended the title with the Brazilian relay.

At the Olympic Games in London in 2012 , he came over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay not beyond the first round.
