Sandy Point Gut is a so-called ghaut ( good ), an ephemeral body of water similar to a Fiumara , on St. Kitts , in the Caribbean island state of St. Kitts and Nevis .
geography
The river has its source in the west of St. Kitts, on the southern slope of Mount Liamuiga . It runs south and soon flows into the Caribbean Sea at Sandy Point Town in Pump Bay , near the mouth of the neighboring Crab Hill Gut .
