Santa Ana is a town in the Santa Cruz Department in the South American Andean state of Bolivia .
Location in the vicinity
Santa Ana is the central place of the canton Santa Ana de Chiquitos in the district ( Bolivian : Municipio ) Carmen Rivero Tórrez in the province Germán Busch . Santa Ana lies at an altitude of 148 m on the west-east running railway line that runs from Santa Cruz to Puerto Quijarro on the Bolivian- Brazilian border.

Santa Ana is located in the Bolivian part of Pantanal , one of the largest inland - wetlands of the earth. At Santa Ana the course of the Quebrada La Canoa breaks through a ridge running from northwest to southeast, which in the northwest section rises as Serranía Santiago near Roboré to 1230 m, and in its southeast continuation as Serranía del Cármen reaches a height of 346 m.
