The San'yō Main Line ( Japanese. 山陽 本 線 , San'yō -honsen ) is a Japanese railway line that runs between Kobe in Hyogo Prefecture and Moji in Fukuoka Prefecture .

The line between Kobe and Shimonoseki is operated by JR West , the line between Shimonoseki and Moji by JR Kyushu .
