Rask comes from Sollentuna near Stockholm and graduated from the ski school in Malung . As a 16-year-old, she took part in FIS races from November 2016 , concentrating on the technical disciplines from the start. She achieved her first victory at this level in January 2017. Two months later, she won the Swedish junior slalom championship. She made her first appearance in the European Cup on November 29, 2017 in the Funäsdalen slalom , and finished in the points for the first time on January 13, 2018 with 14th place in the Zell am See slalom , followed five weeks later with 9th place in the Bad Wiessee slalom the first top 10 placement. She made her World Cup debut on March 9, 2018 in the giant slalom in Ofterschwang , where she finished 42nd.
In the winter of 2018/19, Rask gradually established himself in the European Cup and was classified in the top ten several times. At the end of the season she won the Swedish championship in giant slalom. The 2019/20 European Cup season was very successful for them. On November 29th and 30th, 2019, she won both the giant slalom and the slalom in Trysil . In the further course of the winter two additional podium places followed and decided the giant slalom discipline ranking for itself (one point ahead of Doriane Escané ). Immediately before the season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic , she won the giant slalom gold medal at the 2020 Junior World Championships in Narvik .
