Escané comes from Font-Romeu in the Pyrénées-Orientales department and later settled in Courchevel . From January 2016 she took part in FIS races , a month later she became French slalom and giant slalom champion in the U18 category. After winning four FIS races in a row at the beginning of the 2016/17 season, she made her first appearance in the European Cup on December 15, 2016 . She finished in the points for the first time on January 30, 2017 in the combination of Châtel . At the European Youth Olympic Festival in Erzurum in mid-February 2017 , she won the silver medal in the giant slalom. At the end of the season, three more French junior championship titles in the U18 category followed in the super-G , giant slalom and slalom disciplines .
Escané made her World Cup debut on January 6, 2018 in the giant slalom in Kranjska Gora , which she finished in 55th place. In March 2018, she made it into the top ten for the first time in two European Cup races. Despite missing results in the World Cup, she took part in the 2019 World Cup in Åre and contributed to the fifth place for the French team in the team competition . Immediately afterwards, she won the gold medal in the same discipline at the 2019 Junior World Championships in Val di Fassa . On December 15, 2019, Escané achieved her first European Cup podium finish with third place in the Andalo giant slalom . She celebrated her first European Cup victory on February 27, 2020 in the giant slalom in Krvavec . She took second place in the giant slalom classification (one point behind Sara Rask ) and secured a World Cup starting place for the next winter.
