Sarbinowo Drugie (German: Gut Sarbinowo ) is a hamlet in the Kuyavian-Pomeranian Voivodeship in Poland . It belongs to the urban-and-rural community Janowiec Wielkopolski in the powiat Żniński and lies at an altitude of about 95 meters above sea level.

The administrative center of the municipality in the small town of Janowiec Wielkopolski is about 7.5 kilometers northwest of Sarbinowo Drugie. The main source of income for the village is agriculture. Since the region around the village has many lakes and rivers, tourism is an increasingly growing source of income for the residents.

history

The National Socialists changed the Slavic name Sarbinowo to Gut Scharnhorst , probably after the Prussian general Gerhard von Scharnhorst . The name addition Drugie is Polish and simply means different or second Sarbinowo, as there is another Sarbinowo in the powiat Żniński of a total of eight places of the same name throughout Poland.
