Danfoss Power Solutions (until 2013 Sauer-Danfoss ) is a hydraulic equipment manufacturer that is part of Danfoss .
history
The company goes back to Sauer Getriebe KG from Neumünster, founded by Klaus Murmann , and the Sundstrand Corporation from Rockford (Illinois) .
In 1987 Sundstrand and Sauer Getriebe AG merged their hydraulics business in a joint venture . In 1990 Sauer Getriebe took over this completely, the rest of Sundstrand today belongs to UTC .
In 2000 Danfoss Fluid Power agreed on a strategic collaboration with Sauer-Sundstrand.
In 2008 Danfoss took over the majority of the shares in Sauer-Danfoss Inc., in April 2013 it took over the remaining 24.4% of the shares. The company was then taken off the stock exchange.
Products
Products are hydrostatic gears and motors, piston pumps, valves and electronic controls.
