The Saviva AG headquartered in Regensdorf is in the delivery business active Swiss Gastro supplier. The company supplies catering establishments with food , beverages and non-food items. Scana has been an independent subsidiary of the Migros Group since 2002 and also supplies all Migros restaurants and various associated leisure facilities.
history
The company was founded in Schaan in 1943 and has its roots in Scana Konservenfabrik AG , which is now Hilcona , which was founded by Toni Hilti in 1935 . In 1971, the Scana companies in Switzerland were separated from the Scana canning factory and continued under the umbrella of the listed Scana Holding based in Regensdorf. In October 2002, the holding company sold its subsidiary Scana Lebensmittel to Migros, where it was initially integrated as an independent subsidiary in the wholesale division. The still listed Scana Holding, for its part, realigned itself and was initially renamed Regedo Holding and in 2005, with a focus on real estate, was renamed USI Group Holdings . In 2013, Migros introduced the new Saviva brand and one year later integrated Lüchinger + Schmid into the company.
