Shanna Wladimirowna Bitschewskaja ( Russian Жанна Владимировна Бичевская ; born June 17, 1944 in Moscow ) is a Russian singer who performs songs with patriotic and spiritual content. She is a People's Artist of the RSFSR (1988). Shanna Bitschewskaja lives and works in Moscow.

Life

Shanna Bitschewskaja attended a music school. From 1966 to 1971 she studied at the State University for Circular and Estradenkunst. She taught guitar in the night school of Zagorsk . She appeared as a soloist in Eddie Rosner's orchestra, and from 1973 with the cultural organization Moskonzert .

In the 1970s, Bitschewskaja sang Russian folk songs in the bard style. In 1973 she was awarded at the All-Russian Competition for Entertainment Art. She toured Czechoslovakia, Romania, Yugoslavia, Finland and Hungary. The records with the folk songs were sold in 40 countries. She performed 8 times at the Paris Olympia . In 1980 she won the competition for esteemed artists in Poznan and the title of Ms. creative individuality . In 1989 she was awarded the Golden Guitar Prize at the Sanremo Festival .

In the 1990s her songs contained motifs from the White Guard , later religious motifs. Some of her songs were based on texts by her husband, Gennadi Ponomarjows, and the Hieromönk's novel. In the late 1990s and early 2000s , the singer released a few albums with patriotic content.

According to Bitschewskaja, the number of her concert appearances decreased after the lyrics of her songs became patriotic.

Artistic creation

Zhanna Bitschewskaja calls her style "Russian Country - folk ". Her oeuvre includes several hundred songs with social and religious content as well as romances and works from the Silver Age .

In 2005 her album " White Night " was released. The texts were written by Hieromönch Roman.

Because their song Wir sind Russen ( Russian Мы русские ) with a recording from the film Independence Day , where the Capitol is destroyed and Los Angeles burns, was broadcast on a television channel in Saint Petersburg right after two Russian fighter planes firing their rockets , her song was criticized by the US Embassy

Positions

Bitschewskaja calls in her song, dedicated to the Russian ruler Ivan IV , Grozny Tsar ( Russian Грозный царь ), the Tsar great and holy and is considered a supporter of his canonization . All songs are dedicated to Alexandra Feodorovna , Nicholas II and the Junkers . Alexandra Feodorovna is praised as similar to the archangels ; through her prayers God will have mercy on crucified Russia . The Tsar embodies the leadership for the Russians, their strength and flag. In the song Wir sind nicht Russländer ( Russian Мы не россияне! ) She speaks of a “ ritual murder that has shaken the world, ” meaning the murder of the tsarist family . She compares the murder of Nicholas II with that of Christ, whom she calls the murdered " Tsar of perfidious Judea ".

Shanna Bitschewskaja celebrates the imperial past of Russia, the third Rome , which is now bent under the heels of the overseas villain . The Russians , so Bitschewskaja, give a damn about the power of America and Europe and call on all Slavs . Russia, Belarus and Ukraine are inseparable, like three forever related sisters. Shanna Bitschewskaja describes the Slavic peoples as "great and chosen by God"; they "will unite in the Orthodox Ocean". The mission of Russia, Bitschewskaja said, is to lead people of every nation to the Orthodox faith and to prepare people for the kingdom of God . The devil is only averse to Christianity, so he does not seek to destroy any other religion, he even creates the other, non-Christian religions. Bitschewskaya also complains that the television is barking about freedom and rights .

Bitschewskaja suggests that homosexuals in Russia be locked up in leper colonies built especially for them. Zhanna Bitschewskaja called homosexuality in Russia as part of the Dulles plan , whose first point of the complete corruption of the Russian people foresee . She regards the loathing of signs of homosexual activity as a normal reaction of a mentally healthy person , in Soviet times the people were moral . She calls these activities terrible sin , which is punished . The Gay Prides referred Zhanna Bitschewskaja as amorale action .
