Shaqyp Assanov

Schaqyp Qaschmanuly Assanow ( Kazakh Жақып Қажманұлы Асанов , Russian Жакип Кажманович Асанов Schakip Kaschmanowitsch Assanow * 17th August 1963 in Kzyl-Orda , Kazakhstan SSR ) is a Kazakh lawyer .

Life

Shaqyp Assanov was born in Ksyl-Orda in 1963 . He studied at the University of the State Kazakh law .

After graduation, he worked for the Public Prosecutor's Office in Ksyl-Orda as the chief public prosecutor of the city of Ksyl-Orda and as assistant to the public prosecutor of Ksyl-Orda Oblast . From 1993 to 1994 he worked at the General Prosecutor's Office of Kazakhstan as the head of the Department for Compliance with Banking Supervision and Finance. Between November 1994 and November 1996 he worked as an advisor and head of the Rule of Law and Judicial Reform Department in the administration of the President of Kazakhstan. In 1996 he was the first deputy head of the tax police of the South Kazakhstan region . After only a few months in this position, he started working again for the Kazakh Prosecutor General in 1997. From February 2001 to February 2002 he worked as the first deputy prosecutor of the city of Almaty and from February 2002 to June 2003 he was the prosecutor of the Pavlodar region . In June 2003 Assanov was appointed Deputy Minister of Justice. In 2005 and 2006 he was the deputy general manager of the National Union of Entrepreneurs and Employers of Kazakhstan, the chairman of the Kazakhstan communalnye sistemy and a board member of the Ordabassy company. After the parliamentary elections in 2007 he became a member of the Mäschilis , the Kazakh parliament. Here he was a member of the Committee on Legislation and Judicial Reform. Since September 6, 2012, Assanov has been the deputy attorney general, and on April 25, 2016 he was appointed attorney general of Kazakhstan. He has been President of the Supreme Court of the Republic of Kazakhstan since December 11, 2017.
