The tip of the shovel is 3332 m above sea level. A. high mountain in the Stubai Alps in Tyrol .
The summit is easily accessible for experienced mountaineers from the mountain station of the Stubai Glacier Railway on the Schaufeljoch (also Isidornieder ) at 3158 m west of the summit. Further climbs are the north ridge ( UIAA III ) and the northeast ridge ( UIAA III ). The path of the first climbers ( UIAA II ) leads from Schaufelnieder (Fernaujoch) in the southeast to the summit.
