The Scheer is a river in France that runs in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region .

The Scheer originated in the municipality of Scherwiller , where it branches off from the Aubach under the name Blumbaechl . For a short section it still bears the name Saulager before it finally calls itself Scheer . It generally drains north-west through the Rhine plain and flows into the Andlau after 40 kilometers in the municipality of Fegersheim as a right tributary . The Scheer Neuve (Eng .: Neue Scheer) branches off above Kertzfeld and joins the Kirneck after around five kilometers .
