geography

The small village is located 20 kilometers southwest of Strasbourg between Schaeffersheim and Uttenheim .

history

Bolsenheim owned a castle. A Peter von Bolsenheim was one of the knights who were inferior to the Swiss in the Battle of Sempach and was killed here. The castle was in the 18th century part of the time for Hesse-Darmstadt belonging Office Wolfisheim .
