geography

The municipality of Saint-Martin is located on the Ruisseau du Giessen de Steige , a tributary of the Giessen in the Vosges , about 16 kilometers northwest of Sélestat . The village itself is at the exit of the Breitenbach valley.

Neighboring communities of Saint-Martin are Breitenbach in the north, Albé in the northeast, Villé in the east, Bassemberg in the south, Lalaye in the southwest (point of contact) and Maisonsgoutte in the northwest.
