Dieffenbach-au-Val (German: Diefenbach ) is a French commune with 627 inhabitants (as of January 1, 2017) in the northern Vosges in the Bas-Rhin department in the Grand Est region (until 2015 Alsace ). The community is flanked to the west by the Forêt Domaniale de la Vancelle .
