Schepit ( Ukrainian Шепіт ; Russian Шепот Schepot , Polish Brustury ) is a village in the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 1750 inhabitants (2001).

Until 1941 the village was called Brusturi Brustury . Schepit is the only village in the 36.2 km² district council of the same name in the southwest of Kosiv Rajon .

The village lies in the valley of the 15 km long Brusturka ( Брустурка ), a mountain stream that flows over the Pistynka ( Пістинька ) and the Prut of the Danube . The village is located about 24 km west of the Kosiv district center and about 100 km south of the Ivano-Frankivsk oblast center .

To the southwest of the village center is the Welykyj-Huk waterfall , which has a fall depth of 5 m over two cascades.
