The Scheuereckberg is a 1193 m high mountain in the Bavarian Forest National Park between the Great Falkenstein and the Great Rachel in the Schachten area .
The yearling shaft, which is one of the most beautiful in the Bavarian Forest, extends on its expansive summit. Some of the old sycamore maples are still preserved here, and the former pasture area is littered with blueberry bushes. A bit above the rustic shelter hut is the highest point of the Scheuereckberg, on the rock of which there is a small summit cross . The view goes over to the Czech Poledník (Mittagsberg) as well as to the Lackenberg and the Großer Falkenstein .
