Schewtschenkowe ( Ukrainian Шевченкове ; Russian Шевченково Schewtschenkowo , Polish Święty Stanisław ) is a village in the north of the Ukrainian Oblast Ivano-Frankivsk with about 150 inhabitants (2001).
Shevtschenkowe belongs administratively to the district council of the village of Salukwa in the Halych district and is located 4 km west of the Halych district center at the mouth of the Limnyzja in the Dniester . The Salukwa Community Center is 3 km southeast and the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Center 28 km south of the village.
In the village there is the St. Panteleimon Church from the 12th century, the oldest church building in western Ukraine . According to ancient documents , it was built during the period of the Galician-Volyn principality .
