Rail transport in the Comoros

Rail traffic in the Comoros began around 1907.

There was a light railway in the track width mm 600th The operator was a plantation company , Société Comores Bambao . Only goods traffic took place on the railway . It is not known when this was given up. There was no rail traffic on the Comoros beyond this plantation railway.
