Normal way Wildbad Kreuth - Geißalm - Königsalm - Schildenstein

The Schildenstein is a 1,613 m high mountain in the Mangfall Mountains in Bavaria . The summit can be reached in an easy hike from Wildbad Kreuth via the Geißalm and the Königsalm. Surefootedness , on the other hand, requires the wire rope secured route over the Wolfsschlucht . To the east, the Blauberge adjoin the Schildenstein.

The Cavalier House on the left Königsalm 1818 Bavarian King Maximilian I build. The king is said to have visited the Alm frequently. The wooden block building next to it from 1723 is the largest historical alpine hut in the Miesbach district .
