Castles in Potsdam
The palaces in Potsdam are an extensive ensemble of palaces with just as numerous architectural styles. Above all, the Prussian kings shaped the appearance of the city with their representative buildings. Large parts of the palace ensemble were declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1990 , as the first complex after reunification and the largest in Germany.
