Abattoir by-product
When offal is called pieces of slaughtered animals that are not considered meat are defined, and not by fish , crustaceans , molluscs and other aquatic invertebrates originate.
You can distinguish them according to various criteria. A system is:
- Use for human nutrition (e.g. head , foot , tail , heart , tongue , kidney cones , seam meat , belly mesh , throat , thymus gland )
- Use for pharmacy (e.g. gall bladder , adrenal gland , placenta )
- Use for human nutrition or for the production of pharmaceutical products (e.g. liver , kidney , lungs , brain , pancreas , spleen , spinal cord , ovary , uterus , testes , udder , thyroid , pituitary gland ).
- such as hides that can be used for human consumption or for other purposes (e.g. the manufacture of leather)

- such as horns and hooves, which, when crushed, serve as fertilizers
They are also differentiated according to their suitability for human consumption, and edibility is also reflected in the differentiation; apply, sperm , embryos , sponge , tendon and tendons as inedible.
