Schlatten is located at the western end of the market town of Ruprechtshofen. The most important traffic connection is the main street between Ruprechtshofen and Wieselburg (also called Wieselburgerstraße). Schlatten comprises around 20 houses.

The Schlattenbach, which runs through the municipality from west to east, also flows through Schlatten. The Schlattenbach rises in Brunnwiesen.
