The Schloßberg near Pantelitz in the office of Niepar , district of Vorpommern-Rügen is 22.8  m above sea level. NN high hill and formerly supported a defensive system, probably a Slavic rampart .

history

the Schloßberg (Wall) near Pantelitz, on Borgwallsee the settlement of the same name is recorded 1839 - 1: 200000

Early 19th century, the castle wall on is Friedrich von Hagenow "card Neuvorpommerns and complaints" from 1839 as a rampart recorded. On the measurement table sheet of the Prussian New Admission from 1888, the place is named as "Schloßberg". In the past two centuries since Hagenows was mentioned , the defunct rampart has very likely been leveled due to agricultural use. It has only survived as a flat and round hill.

The age and function of the defense system have not been handed down historically. The Schloßberg near Pantelitz is seen together with the formerly existing castle wall on a peninsula in the northwestern part of the Borgwallsee and the castle wall near Altenhagen in a network of defensive systems from the Slav period.  Map with all coordinates: OSM | WikiMap f1Georeferencing
