history
Pantelitz was first mentioned in a document on January 13, 1287. In the southwest of Pantelitz are the remains of a former castle wall, the so-called Schloßberg . After the Thirty Years' War until 1815, the area belonged to Swedish Pomerania and then to the Prussian province of Pomerania . The large Pantelitz manor house received its classical form in the middle of the 19th century .
The community was part of the Franzburg-Barth district until 1952 and then belonged to the Stralsund district in the Rostock district until 1994 .
Puttes church dates from the 13th century. The parish widow's house was built around 1786.
Zimkendorf was first mentioned in a document in 1233. A manor was located here that belonged to the von Braun family until 1619. After that, the estate changed hands several times. In 1929 the estate was relocated. The manor house was built in 1777.

coat of arms
The coat of arms was approved by the Ministry of the Interior in September 2012 and registered under the number 343 of the coat of arms of Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.
Blazon : "Under a blue wave shield head, inside a golden rapeseed blossom, in silver a soaring golden armed red falcon."
The community can look back on a long and, above all, lively history. It was first mentioned in a document in 1287. After the Thirty Years War, the place belonged to Swedish Pomerania for a long time. From 1807 to 1810 the French ruled here and in 1815 the community finally fell to Prussia. The coat of arms should also remind of this eventful history.
The blue-white tinging of the coat of arms signals the former affiliation to Pomerania. The four-leaf rape blossom is said to refer to the four districts of today Pantelitz, Pütte, Viersdorf and Zimkendorf using a number symbolism. But it also shows that the place has always been closely linked to agriculture and that many residents made their living from it. The wavy head and the falcon finally point to the nature reserve Borgwallsee and the beautiful Pütter See.
The coat of arms was designed by the local heraldist Heinz Kippnick .
