Lüdershagen is a municipality in the west of the Vorpommern-Rügen district. The community is located southwest of Barth . Until January 1, 2005, the community was part of the then Barth-Land office ; since then she has belonged to the Barth office .

Lüdershagen is about 15 kilometers east of Ribnitz-Damgarten and about 10 kilometers southwest of Barth . The federal highway 105 ( Rostock - Stralsund ) runs south of the municipality . The community is located south of the Gäthkenhäger forest.
history
Lüdershagen was first mentioned in a document in 1278. The place was created in the course of the German colonization in the east . The locators and first landlords were those of Ploetz ; Roloff de Plocech sold his property to the city of Stralsund in 1290 .
After the Thirty Years' War until 1815, the area belonged to Swedish Pomerania and then to the Prussian province of Pomerania .
The community was part of the Franzburg-Barth district until 1952 and then belonged to the Ribnitz-Damgarten district in the Rostock district until 1994 .
During restoration work in the Lüdershagen village church, archaeologists discovered almost 300 up to 700 year old coins made of silver and copper under the brick floor.
Coat of arms, flag, official seal
The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "GEMEINDE LÜDERSHAGEN * LANDKREIS VORPOMMERN-RÜGEN".
