Deyelsdorf is a municipality in the district of Vorpommern-Rügen . The community is located southeast of Ribnitz-Damgarten . Until February 15, 2004, the community belonged to the Trebeltal Office and has been part of the Recknitz-Trebeltal Office since then .

Geographical location
Deyelsdorf is about 20 kilometers west of Grimmen and about five kilometers south of Tribsees . The Trebel and a section of the never completed coastal canal flow through the west of the municipality . There is also a larger forest area here.

history
local community
The area belonged to the Duchy of Pomerania until the end of the Thirty Years War . After the Peace of Westphalia until 1815, it then belonged to Swedish Pomerania and then to the Prussian province of Pomerania . It was part of the Grimmen district until 1952 and then the Grimmen district in the Rostock district until 1994 .
Techlin
The place Techlin was in 1245 patronage deed of the monastery Neuenkamp mentioned. Landowners were u. a. the von Behr family (1610 – around after 1648), the Swedish major general Hans Graf Wachtmeister zu Björkö und Erben (until 1819), Colonel Bernhard Gustav von Hennigs und Erben (until 1945 and again since 2005); they also owned the neighboring Stremlow estate .

The municipality has no officially approved national emblem, neither a coat of arms nor a flag . The official seal is the small state seal with the coat of arms of the region of Western Pomerania . It shows an upright griffin with a raised tail and the inscription "GEMEINDE DEYELSDORF".
