Laurenburg Castle

The Lauren Castle is located below the castle Laurenburg the territory of the municipality Laurenburg in Rhein-Lahn-Kreis in Rhineland-Palatinate .

The simple, small castle was built as a summer residence on behalf of the Princes of Anhalt-Bernburg . The three-wing building has two floors and housed, among other things, the mine management of the Holzappel pit , a subsidiary of the Stolberger Zink company . Today it is a dormitory for the disabled of the Diakonie-care homes Scheuen .

Viewing is only possible from the outside.
