The Xuzhou-Lanzhou High-Speed Railway , also known as Xulan PDL (徐蘭客運專線) is a railroad - high-speed line in the People's Republic of China . It connects the Chinese cities of Lanzhou , Xi'an , Zhengzhou and Xuzhou from west to east and is one of four east-west axes in the Chinese high-speed network.

On February 6, 2010, the middle section ( Zhengxi PDL ) between Zhengzhou and Xi'an went into operation. The inaugural train covered the 505 km long connection (456 km of which was a new line) in 108 minutes at a top speed of 352 km / h. 14 pairs of trains are to serve the section, which also includes several intermediate stations, in the future. The travel time on the old route was around six hours.

The entire high-speed line has been in operation since July 9, 2017.
