Schoschana Arbeli-Almoslino

Shoschana Arbeli-Almoslino ( Hebrew שושנה אַרְבֵּלִי-אַלְמוֹזְלִינוֹ; * January 26, 1926 in Mosul ; † June 12, 2015 in Tel Aviv-Jaffa ) was an Israeli politician .

Life

She is the sister of Zabari Benjamin. She graduated from high school at 16 and then attended a teacher training college in Baghdad . She then returned to Mosul , where she took part in the Zionist pioneer movement. Subsequently, it was from Jerachmi'el Assa ( Hebrew יְרַחְמִיאֵל אסא) questioned by the Mossad le Alija Bet in custody and flew to Palestine by plane in 1947 as part of the Alija Bet .

In 1948 she became a member of the Achdut haAwoda and a member of the party secretariat in Ramat Gan / Giv'atajim . At first she was on 24 September 1984 to 20 October 1986, Israeli deputy health minister , then she was on 20 October 1986 to 22 December 1988, Israeli Health Minister .
