Shota Rustaveli State Prize
The Schota Rustaveli State Prize ( Georgian შოთა) სახელობის პრემია Shot'a Rust'avelis Sakhelobis Premia ) is the highest award in Georgia in the fields of literature , art and architecture .
The prize, named after the Georgian national poet Schota Rustaveli , was donated in 1965 . It is awarded every three years in the categories of literature, music , visual arts , architecture, theater and film .
The prize is endowed with 15,000 Lari (around € 7,500 ). The winners are determined by the Presidential Committee for State Prizes in Literature, Art and Architecture . The final decision is made by an expert jury.
