Tamas Tschiladze

Tamas Tschiladze ( Georgian თამაზ ჭილაძე ; born March 5, 1931 in Sighnaghi ; † September 28, 2018 ) was a Georgian writer .

Life

He was born in 1931 as the son of an economist and studied at Tbilisi State University until 1954 . This was followed by an apprenticeship in new Georgian literature. Tschiladze then worked in the magazines Ziskari and Sabchota Chelowneba . He was a member of the Schota Rustaveli State Prize Committee . He later worked as the secretary of the Georgian Writers' Union.
