The Schraubach is a right tributary of the Landquart in Prättigau in the Swiss canton of Graubünden . It is created by the confluence of the source streams Grossbach and Wissbach, which rises in the Rätikon, at around 912  m above sea level. M. at Schuders . The Schraubach, which now runs in a westerly direction, flows through the Schraubachtobel , where it passes the steepest slope. After 5.6 kilometers (with Grossbach 12.8 km) it joins the Landquart near Schiers .

In Schiers, which used to be plagued by debris flows several times , the Schraubach is no longer tamed by barriers as it once was, but instead is guided over several cascades, thus weakening its flow speed. Before the construction, the stream was used to transport wood. The wood was used, among other things, for the paper mill in Landquart .

The Schraubach is followed by an 8.5 km long hiking trail, which opens after the snowmelt in May and takes about 3.5 hours to Schiers.
