The Schuge (from Lower Sorbian tšuga , "Bach") is a left tributary of the Berste in Brandenburg .
course
The Schuge rises in the nature reserve Schuge- und Mühlenfließquellgebiet , which is located in the district of Heideblick and the city of Luckau in the Dahme-Spreewald district in Brandenburg . To the west is the district of Pitschen-Pickel , which also belongs to the municipality of Heideblick. There the Pitschen-Pickel trench flows in a north-south direction past the headwaters.
After around 800 meters, the Paseriner Mühlenfließ flows in from the south . From now on, the Schuge flows in a north-easterly direction south past Kümmritz and after around 4.2 km passes the town of Zieckau. North is south of the county road 6138 and west of the village of the Schäferteich, which is connected to the Schuge. After another 1.5 km in a north-easterly direction, the Caule-Zieckau border ditch flows south of Caule from the west. Behind it, the Schuge runs mainly in an easterly direction and after around 1.2 km crosses the federal highway 96 , which also runs in a north-south direction. After a good further kilometer, Graben IV flows into Rüdingsdorf from the south. The river continues to flow mainly in an easterly direction, crosses under the Schugeweg at Zauche and finally flows into the Berste.
