The work in and with the church forms the central and apostolic task of the association; it stands in the spirit of the cross and focuses on the spiritual order. The schools form a communication between laypeople and priests, whereby they can help and support one another. The spirituality of the cross thus forms a union with the priesthood, the lay apostolate and the missionary mandate of the church.

Structure and way of working

Each autonomous school is assigned to a parish and is administrated by this organisationally and economically. The school groups consist of 5–9 students who come from the local peasantry and farm workers. The head office is located in Contreras (Mexico) .
