The Schulzensee near Starsow is one of three lakes with this name in the urban area of Mirow in the Mecklenburg Lake District , Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania . The smaller Schulzensee near the Mirower See is 2 kilometers away, the larger Schulzensee near the Peetsch district is 4.2 kilometers away.
The approximately circular lake has a size of 13.1 hectares with a diameter of 400 meters. A ditch brings water from the meadows to the north. On its east side, a ditch drains to the Mirower Canal and thus to the Havel .
Starsow is located on its south bank, from where direct but not public access to the lake is possible. The Dobbertiner Klosterforst Mirow connects to the west. The other banks are surrounded by meadows and fields. On the east bank there was a swimming area in the immediate vicinity of the road from Mirow to Schwarz . The lake is bypassed to the north by a section of the Wittenberge – Strasburg railway line that has now been dismantled .
