from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Swiss aid organization Children in Need was founded in 1979 by Brave Hyppolite as a politically and denominationally neutral aid organization for children in the "Third World" in Zurich . Since then, the organization has mainly been active in Africa and Haiti . Kinder in Not is recognized as a non-profit institution and is tax-exempt. The aid organization is financed through private donations and project sponsorships.

concept

The focus of the work is the child's health, nutrition and schooling. The aid organization does not pursue any major projects. Local projects are implemented in cooperation with the population.
