The threshold brook is a left tributary of the laundry brook in Warstein , North Rhine-Westphalia .

The source of the threshold brook lies in the northern foothills of the Arnsberg Forest, the source is at an altitude of 431  m above sea level. NHN about 2.3 km southeast of Altenwarstein and a little beyond the small hilltop Tüppel ( 461.4  m above sea level ). The stream flows at the edge and in a meadow in the forest first to the northeast, from the exit from the Arnsberg Forest a shorter piece northwards along an industrial track on the right slope. There it sinks east of the Enkerbruch industrial estate in a ponor in the southeast of the Liethöhle nature reserve and the stream shrinkage of the laundry stream in the karst .

Catchment area

The catchment area is around 1.2 km² and is largely located in the Warsteiner Forest. In the southeast the catchment area of ​​the upper laundry brook borders, in the west that of the long brook , the right upper reaches of the desert , into which also a little further down the laundry brook flows from the right.
